John Henry Voigt III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Voigt III of Tybee Island, Georgia, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jacobs Voigt; his former wife Martha B. Voigt; his stepson Wayne Boyd (Andrea); his son Tony Voigt; his daughter-in-law Kim; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marlow and Jacob Voigt; his daughter Kelly Umphlett (Kenny); his grandchildren, Drew Umphlett (Courtney), Kimberly Umphlett and Stephen Umphlett (Chelsea); his stepson Ken Boyd (Karen); his stepgrandson Luke Boyd (Saloni); his stepdaughters, Katie Mullins (Ryan), Jennifer Prigdon (Josh) and Anna Callahn (Taylor); and also Shawna Boyd (Ofir). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404). A reception will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the American Legion Post 154 (10 Veterans Dr, Tybee Island, GA 31328).
