Willaunell Williams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 85, Willaunell Williams of Tybee Island, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Woodard and Doris Fountain Woodard; her husband Charles Weldon Williams; her daughter Dorcia Lee Williams; and her siblings, Margie Cochran, Wilma Woodard, Roy Woodard and Garey Woodard.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny E. Williams (Tabitha) of Savannah and Charles L. Williams (Tamera Miyasato) of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Lucian Miyasato-Williams, Kacey Lee Bender (Robert) and Tucker Johnny Williams; her great grandchild Alec; her siblings, Denise Woodard of Brunswick, GA and Randall Woodard of Nashville, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Terri Woodard and Anita Woodard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel (4605 US-80, Savannah, GA 31410). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sea Baptist Church (811 Butler Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church, or Spanish Oaks Hospice.
