With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvis Davis of Uvalda, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband George H. Davis; her parents, Ephfriam Howell Wasdin and Mildred Mary Wasdin; and her siblings, Donnie Wasdin Austin, J. H. Wasdin and Buck Wasdin.

She is survived by : her children, Lynda Foskey (Randal) of Alston, Larry Davis (Janice) of Uvalda and Alicia Rollins (Randy) of Cedar Crossing; her sister Claudine Wasdin Chesser of Ludowici; and her grandchildren, Julie Palmer (Jeffry) of Vidalia, Craig Foskey (Kim) of Higgston, Brad Davis, Priscilla Sikes of Uvalda, Melanie Bowen (Brandon) of Vidalia, Ashley Fowler (Will) of Southern Pines and Justin Rollins (Cierra) of Lyons.
