She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Morris Coats (late Warren Coats) of Valdosta, Beth Dasher of Valdosta, Emma Kanawha Braswell-Phillips (Joshua Phillips) of Valdosta and Rebecca Ellen Braswell of Sweetwater, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Lauren Coats Schmidt (Kurtis Schmidt), Callie Coats Shepard (Kevin Shepard), Cameron Phillips and McKenzie Dasher; her great grandchildren, Elijah Schmidt, Samantha, Hannah, Caleb and Olivia Shepard; her brother Randall Chappell of Wrightsville, Georgia; her sister-in-law Brenda Chappell of Chula; and her sibling's children, Belinda Coleman (Tom), Ferrell Chappell (Lindsey) and Doug Chappell.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 108 W Park Ave, Valdosta, GA 31602.
