She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Barnard and Sallie Taylor Barnard; and her siblings, John G. Barnard, Jr., William H. Barnard and Evelyn Alethia Barnard-Harp.
She is survived by: her son Steve; her daughter-in-law Joy Jennings of Valdosta; her granddaughter Stephanie (Troy Weathers) of Valdosta; and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Maci Weathers of Valdosta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
