Ronald F. Giles Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald F. Giles of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Giles, Sr. and Mamie Ree Taylor Giles; and his brothers, Buck Giles and Ellis B. Giles. He is survived by: his wife Beverly O'Connor Giles of Valdosta; his daughters, Lisa Giles Gilchrist, Linda Ann Giles and Sherri Giles Parker (Tim); his grandchildren, Savannah Jane Gilchrist, Thomason Alexander Gilchrist and Jourdan Angel Corker; his brother Ben; and his sister-in-law Beverley Giles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redeemer Presbyterian Church (3338L Country Club Road, Suite 1 PMB 230, Valdosta, GA 31605).
