He is survived by : his daughter Jermuria Butler (Antione); his wife Yesheta Butler; his mother Sophia Kinchen; his mother-in-law Retha Butler; his siblings, Cynthia Ross (Kevin), Stephanie Taylor (Jerod), Lisa Hunt, Terri Hunt, Gary Gaffney, Donnell Gaffney, James Gaffney Jr. (Doretha), Maurice Hunt (Gloria), Marcus Hunt (Donna), Chris Kinsey and Barron Blackshear; his aunts, Lula Bell Hilbert, Mary Jones, Carrie Davis and Corrine Gaffney Blakney; his stepmother JoAnn Gaffney; his stepsister Linda Berry; his siblings-in-law, Lonnell Outler, Rudy Butler and Nuketa Butler; and his friend Antonio Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home (211 W Liberty Ave, Lyons, GA 30436). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Vision Missionary Baptist Church (702 Smith St, Vidalia, GA 30474).
