She was predeceased by : her parents, J. Elzy Stacy and Mary Edwards Stacy; her former life partner H. L. Bruce; and her son Timothy Bruce. She is survived by : her husband Isaac Day; her son Paul Bruce (Merissa); her brother Jesse Elzy Stacy (Brenda); her stepchildren, Teresa Day Wilson and Joseph Day; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Richter, Peggy Thomas, Joshua Stacy, Richard Bruce and Noel Bruce; and her grandchildren, Ben Bruce, Jeremy Bruce, Jordan Bruce, Joshua Bruce, Jonathan Bruce, Joe Bruce, Brandon Bruce, Jessi Bruce, Christina Clifford, Iris Stanford, David Day, Art Calix and Shaun Calix. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
