It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Mulkey Whitworth of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jefferson Mulkey and Clifford Elizabeth Watson Mulkey; and her husband Elbert Whitworth. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Ronda Whitworth) of Dallas, GA, Thomas (Julie Whitworth) of Powder Springs, GA and Sherri (Ronald Tapp) of Temple, GA; and her siblings, Francis Keller of Lithonia, GA and Lois Sheriff of Toccoa, GA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her memory to Gateway Baptist Church 9710 Highpoint Road, Villa Rica 30180.
