In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Donnie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Donnie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Efford Gillispie and Jewel Holt Gillispie; and his siblings, Brenda Hill, Rodney Hill and Terry Lyn Gillispie.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Franks Gillispie of Villa Rica; his sons, Brian Gillispie (Jaime Turner) of Whitesburg, Jeffrey Evans (Jesica) of Wedowee, AL and Brad Gillispie (Lindsey Chance) of Villa Rica; and his sister Carolyn Hargiss of Section, AL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Villa Rica Free Holiness Church (2000 Lake Paradise Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at the Villa Rica Free Holiness Church Cemetery (2000 Lake Paradise Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
