He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry George, Sr. and Grace Cole George; his wife Carolyn Josephine George; and his sisters, Jean Helton and Reba Hubbard.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina; his son-in-law Rich Campbell of Temple, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kevin, Breanna Blackmon and Addisyn Campbell; his great grandchildren, Logan Beau Blackmon, Brynnleigh Blackmon and Warren Blackmon; his sisters, Maggie Deese of Carrollton and Marvine Capes (Timmy) of Fort Payne, Alabama; and his sister-in-law Dale Morris (Al Dobbins) of Tallapoosa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel (306 Westview Dr, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
