She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Akins and Gladys McCord Akins; her husband Bobby Gene Miller; her brother Clyde Lloyd Akins; her sister-in-law Pat Akins; her grandson SGT Michael Hardegree; and her grandson-in-law Derrick Shaw (William Garner).
She is survived by: her children, Becky, Keith Rollins, Cindy and George Chip; her grandchildren, Beth Shaw, Samantha Rollins and William Rollins; and her great grandchildren, Kass Shaw, Anna Shaw and Liam Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Shirley's memory.
