Though Winfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Pirkle and Lillie Mae Phillips Pirkle; and his brothers, Douglas Pirkle and Dave Pirkle. He is survived by: his wife Jean Arrington Pirkle of Villa Rica; his children, Scott Pirkle (Katie) of Jackson, GA, Brian Pirkle (Brandy) of Bremen, Dean Pirkle (Wendy) of Douglasville and Dusty Pirkle (Emily) of Hiram; and his brothers, Michael Pirkle of Hampton and Tony Pirkle of Bowdon. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Collins Funeral Home & Cremation Service (206 S Carroll Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Meadowbrook Memory Gardens (1100 NE Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
