She was predeceased by: her husband Sammy Byrd Thompson; and her son Samuel Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Gary B. Thompson of Jake, Chuck Thompson, Tammy Thompson of Bremen, Joe Thompson and Sarah Thompson of Colorado; her grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Gary B. Thompson, Jr., Whitney Thompson, Erica Thompson and Maren Thompson; and her sisters, Willa Dean Clayton and Joyce White.
