She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Bernice Gibson; her grandson Micah Christian Wilson; and her sister Ada Diane Gore (Gibson). She is survived by: her husband John Harley Wilson III of Waresboro; her sons, Keith Wilson (Dell) of Waycross and Phillip Wilson (Michele) of Niles, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Hannah Faith Wilson, Caleb Joshua Wilson, Daniel Joseph Wilson, Rebekah Abigail Wilson and Lydia Helene Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
