He is survived by: his children, Deborah Mason (Thomas) of Kathleen and Albert Randall Chappell (Lynn) of Perry; his grandchildren, Trent Mason (Courtney), Tiffin Bloodworth (Slade) and Tillman Mason (Courtney Orr); his great grandchildren, Anna Reese, Thomas Mason and Merritt Bloodworth; and his siblings, Paul Chappell (Paulette) of Panama City, Troy Chappell of Panama City, Herbert Chappell (Pat) of Jacksonville, Roy Chappell (Christine) of Dothan and Gertrude Smith of Elba, Alabama..
