He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Austin Bassett and Eda Bassett (Luce) of Moulton; his wife Alice Katherine Eby; and his daughters, Pamela Brand (Ronald) of Kirksville and Terri Bassett (Frank Hein) of Ventura.
Late in life Wayne became an avid birder, so in lieu of flowers the family is asking that.
