She was predeceased by: her parents, John Flint and Ella Bell Flint of Macon, GA.; her husband Gerald West Wordlaw, Sr.; and her close friend Alice Turner Eloise Shackleford. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Wordlaw, Jr., Alice Gant, Michael Wordlaw (Lisa), Velvete Smith, Marchelle Gay (David), Sharon Terrell and Tamika Watkins (Carlos); her sisters-in-law, Alice Flint and Denise Flint; her children, Wendell Williams, Nickolas McCollum and Kim Harris; and her close friends, Wilemina Weaver and Anita Brewton. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
