He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene and Lillian Mariphosie Cherry. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Stoker Cherry of Warner Robins; his children, Charlotte Cherry Yelken (Doug) of Peachtree City, GA and Timothy Thomas Cherry (Mandy) of Forsyth, GA; his grandchildren, Alexa Lynn Yelken, Savannah Karoline Yelken and Max O'Neal Yelken; his great grandchild Angel Christine Humphrey; and his brother Bobby Eugene Cherry (Ernestine) of Biloxi, MS..
