She was predeceased by: her children, Lamar Avery and Faye Hill; her son-in-law Gene Lee; and her siblings, Marvin, James, Raymond, Edward Forrester and Willine Rollins.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert Avery; her children, Harold Avery (Rebecca) of Warner Robins and Anne Lee of Boiling Springs; her grandchildren, Tim Lee (Cindy) of Roebuck, Camden Lee of Roebuck, Katy Hayes of Roebuck, Troy Lee (Melinda), Paul Lee, Reagan Lee of Cowpens, Jared Hill of Jacksonville, Jeremy Avery of Warner Robins, Laney Avery of Warner Robins, Emma Avery of Warner Robins, Cooper Avery of Warner Robins, Ryan Elizabeth Avery of Tampa, Reese Avery of Tampa, Charlie Avery of Tampa, Cannon Avery of Tampa, Debbie Edwards (Scott), Clayton Furr (Casey), Braylon Furr and Bella Furr of Boiling Springs; and her siblings, Myrtice Farmer, Hilton Forrester and John Forrester.
