She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Saitta and Mercedes Saitta. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Jackson; her great grandchild Emma; her daughters, Karen Avant (James) and Claudia Barnes; her grandchildren, April Westmoreland, Amy Isaacs, Spencer Barnes, Jeffrey Avant and Lance Haynes; and her stepgrandsons, Matt Avant and Eric Avant. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Houston Medical Center Auxillary, 1601 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA 31093 or to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Pkwy, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
