He is survived by: his parent Gloria Perkins Barnickel; his wife Judith Barnickel of Byron; his stepdaughter Betty Lewis; his grandchildren, Dallas Murphy and Dakota Mims; his sisters, Beth Barnickel and Laura McKenna; his nephew Ben McKenna; and his niece Elizabeth McKenna.
