With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Gilbert Jackson Jr. (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Gilbert Jackson, Sr. and Laura Grooms Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Susie Johnson Jackson of Perry; his daughters, LaToya Jackson-Barnett (David) of Evans, Danielle Denise Jackson of Perry and Brittany Laurel Schreier of Evans; his grandchildren, Jade Jackson-Barnett, Jihaad Barnett, Jazz Barnett, Jordyn Jackson-Doughty, Kingston "Buck" Jackson-Simpson and Susie Schreier; his great grandchild Jynx Ivori Wiggins; and his sisters, Pamela Jackson Turner (Roy) of Jacksonville, Florida and Paula Jackson Beneby of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During this time and for the safety of everyone in attendance, the family asks that everyone remain six feet apart if unable to wear a mask.
