We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2021, at the age of 95, Doris Hicks Purvis (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Metter, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend James Purvis'; her parents, Johnie Hicks and Anna Hicks; her husband James Thomas Purvis, Jr.; and her granddaughters, Stacey Franks and Kelli Franks.
She is survived by: her children, Don Purvis of Watkinsville and Joyce Purvis Franks of Batesburg; her grandchildren, Austin Franks (Laura Serra) of Pelion, Dameon Franks (Jessica) of Batesburg, Colin Purvis of Atlanta, Georgia and Courtney Purvis Stabb (Chris) of London, England; and her great grandchildren, Ayden of Batesburg, Trinity of Batesburg and Rowyn Franks of Batesburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in memory of Doris to Baptist Village, 6000 Plantation Way, Macon, GA 31210.
