She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Poole Darley (John) and John H. Halligan; and her daughters, Linda Rene Carter Tigue and Tonya Darlene Carter. She is survived by: her children, Clarence Keith Potts and Kristi Carter Sell (John). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
