He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Isabelle "Izzy"; his former wife Isabelle Slaughter; his daughter Jacqueline Edwards; his parents, Curtis Slaughter and Myrtle Slaughter; his daughter Tracey Young (Ervin) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandson Martin "J. J."; his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Jaxon, Jayce and Jrue of Ft. Worth, TX; his son-in-law Martin Edwards, Sr. (Denise) of Fort Worth, TX.; and his siblings, Bobby (Claudia) of Laurelton, NY, Walter (Helen) of Newburgh, NY, Willie (Ann) of Peoria, IL, James (Debbie) of Peoria, IL, Betty Duncan (David) of Peoria, IL, Judy Slaughter of Peoria, IL and Michael of Livermore, CA. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
