He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Gilliland and Annie Foster Gilliland; his siblings, Horace, Earnest J., Elmer, Howard and Juanita Gilliland; and his son-in-law Michael Dillard.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Gilliland; his daughter Cindy Dillard; his granddaughter Nikki Lytle (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Cole Toraya, Ivy and Lily Lytle.
