He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Short and Ida Short. He is survived by: his children, Mike Short (Jodi) of Kathleen and Tracy Sherron of Nashville, Tennessee; and his brother Steve Short of Chevy Chase, Maryland. He is also survived by several grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
