It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Franklin Lumpkin formerly of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lumpkin and Susie Smith Lumpkin; his son Robert Lumpkin; and his granddaughter Harley Rebecca Lumpkin. He is survived by: his wife Lane Lumpkin of Bonaire; his son Mark Lumpkin (Natalie) of Grapevine, TX; his daughter-in-law Kristi Lumpkin of Macon; his grandchildren, Avery Hall, Lyla Lumpkin of Grapevine and Ruby Kate Lumpkin of Macon; and his brother Joe Lumpkin (LaRee) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of George Lumpkin to Trinity United Methodist Church, 129 South Houston Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
