It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald J. Schmanski (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schmanski and Antoinette Panczuk Schmanski; his wife Cathy M. Schmanski; and his sisters, Barbara Cumbo and Phyllis Waldack.

He is survived by: his son Brian Schmanski (Heather) of Bonaire; his grandchildren, Maiya Schmanski and Liam Schmanski; and his friend Mike Conley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
