She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Floyd Bell and Emma Elizabeth Schmidt Bell; her former husband William Ward Gambill; her husband Coy Carlton; and her siblings, James Bell and Betty Jo McCrea Gray.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Gambill (Terry) of Warner Robins and Jim Carlton (Cindy) of Suwanee; her grandsons, Rex Gambill (Rachel) of Macon and William Gambill (Charydi) of Warner Robins; her great grandchild Evan Gambill of Macon; and her brother Robert Bell of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
