He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernard Fussell and Mary Lewis; and his sons-in-law, Ken Jordan, Robert Gavin and Stan Putnal.

He is survived by: his wife Clarice; his children, Pamela F. Jordan, Susan F. Gavin Livingston (Sonny), Kay F. Putnal and Guy Clark Fussell Jr. (Vicki); his grandchildren, Stefanie, Kendra, Benjamin, Audra, Alison, Kane, Anderson, Clark, Christopher and Victoria; his sister Frances Koger (Augusta); and his siblings-in-law, Claude Lewis and Peggy Fussell (Columbus). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
