He is survived by: his wife Barbara King; his daughter Sonjo Jeffrey of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, Shatana Lofton, Dominique Mitchell, Ashley Jeffery and Brian Jeffery; and his siblings, James King (Dory) of Blakely, Georgia, Willie Zell Pearson of Dayton and Melonese Truss. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
