He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kathleen Willis; and his parents, Gordon Mercer and Anna Lee Grimsley Willis. He is survived by: his children, R. Michael Willis, Sr. (Kathryn) of Valdosta, Gary G. Willis (Martha) of Twiggs County, Sherry L. Mixon (Jerry) of Macon, Sharon A. Kelley (Doug) of Byron, Mary A. Tucker (Herman) of Byron and Connie M. Plunkett (Wayne) of Byron; and his brother Billy T. Willis (Nancy) of Clearwater, FL.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
