He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Uel and Hazel Mullis Rogers; his wife Betsy Rogers of Perry; his children, April Tew (David) of Perry, Melanie Murphy (Wayne) of Perry and Jonathan Rogers (Lou Alice) of Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ian Tew, Ross Tew (Sara), Christina Hall (Shane), Lacy Murphy, Nathan Murphy, Ben Murphy, Mary Ross Murphy, Heyward Rogers, Henry Rogers, Lawrence Rogers, Margaret Rogers, William Rogers and Betsy Rogers; his sisters, Sylvia Rogers, Roslyn Brookins, Jan McTier (Russell) and Ginger Huff (Rob); and his sister-in-law Nancy Holley (Buddy).
