He was predeceased by: his father Jack Lowell Johnson, Jr.; his father-in-law James Bamous Whigham; his grandparents, Jack Johnson Sr., Corine Johnson, Simon Shanks, Sr., Barbara Portis Shanks and Leona Thompson; and his cousin Simon Shanks, III.
He is survived by: his mother Janice Shanks Johnson; his sons, Trevor and Jaylon Johnson; his mother-in-law Julia Mae Whigham; his brothers, Jonathan Laurence Johnson (Rochelle) and Jason Lamont Johnson (Melissa); his aunts and uncles, Kathy Thomas, Tanya Gray, Marvis Johnson, Simon Shanks, Jr., Michael Earl Shanks, Herbert Thompson, Mitchell Thompson, Marvin Thompson, Carmichael Thompson and Tony Thompson; and also Simon Shanks, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
