He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Rose Foster Poole; his children, Rhonda Poole Hooker and Jimmy Ray Poole; his parents, Ezra Stephens and Laura Smith Poole; his siblings, William Miller, Gladys Campbell, Darthy Grant and Ada-Mae Townsend; and his daughters, Donna Poole of Bonaire, Brenda Bruno (Steven) of Fort Valley and Cynthia Bradley (Richard) of Byron.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brandy Cook, Nikki O'Connor, Chad Smith, Kristen Dorsett, Christopher James Poole, Jessica Shine, Alan Bradley, Samuel Roach, Sean Bruno and Seth Bruno; and his siblings, Lillian Mimbs, Iola Covington, Georgia Smith and Russell Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of James to Encompass Home and Health Hospice, 319 Margie Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
