He is survived by: his children, Timothy Varnedore of Warner Robins, James A. Varnedore (Susan) of Roanoke Rapids and Pamela Fite (Jeff) of Warner Robins; and his sisters, Bonita Taft (Edison) of Douglas and Barbara Powell of Douglas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
