He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Cantrell and Alva Mitchell. He is survived by: his brother Richard; his son Adam Mitchell; his grandson Roman Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Trimboli, Rebecca Gregory (William), Marie Sanders (Mike), Linda Mitchell, Gene Chitty (Debbie), Donnie Woodcock and Wayne Chitty (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
