He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Johnson and Ethelyn Johnston Johnson; his wife Laurine Swain Johnson; his stepdaughter Sharon Daniel; and his grandchildren, Rachel and Cameron.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Merritt (Carl) of Warner Robins and Mark Johnson of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Alex Randall (Blake), Courtney Chambers (Josh), Emilee Tallman (Miranda), Madeline Merritt and Whitney Hinton (Kyle); and his nephew Buck Eubanks (Beth). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
