We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2022, at the age of 79, John Newton Gillespie Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gillespie and Nell Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gillespie (Lowery); his daughters, Kelly Vaziri (Saeid) and Kristine Sparrowhawk (Kele); his grandchildren, Jonathan Vaziri (Hiba), Kayhan Vaziri (Rae), Stefan Vaziri (Chie) and Zoe Sommer (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Norah and Luna Vaziri; and his sisters, Margaret Green and Genell Bloyd (Sam). He is also survived by nephew and several nieces.
