He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Potter and Mattie Owens Potter; and his siblings, Walters and Patsy. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Fish (Eddie) of Lizella, Georgia, Sandra Usher (David) of Warner Robins and Stanley Potter of Warner Robins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers may be given or donations may be made in Leon's memory to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
