With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Girmsey of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Canton, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Richards and Corrie Richards; and her husband John W. Girmsey. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Taffs (Tom), Kathy Canady, Mary Davidson (David) and John W. Girmsey Jr. (Debi); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Riggs, Erin Carlson, Jennifer Dailey (Michael), Matt Canady (Brittany Satterfield), Andi Cole (Scott), Dave Davidson, Katie Davidson (Christy Meadows), John W. Girmsey III (Riesel) and Kyle Girmsey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church soup kitchen, food pantry, or cheerful cherubs kindergarten program.
