She is survived by: her children, Patricia Vanderwarker (Keith), Robbie Goldsmith (Ira), Glenda Simpson (Kenneth), Mary Elizabeth Lanier (William), Dawn Parish (John) and Walter Duckworth III (Lisa); and her sisters, Jackie Hampton and Norma Baker. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
