He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Kay Hurlburt; his parents, Carl Hurlburt and Grace Hurlburt; his children, Claude Alan Hurlburt, Merwin Hurlburt, Jr., Those and Sherri Hurlburt of Perry; his daughter-in-law Kandi Hurlburt of Macon; his grandchildren, Andrew, Amber and Mary Kay Hurlburt; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Devin, Joseph Campbell and Jonathan Blake; and his brother Wayne Hurlburt of Warner Robins.
