He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Gillis (Wayne); his children, Michael Shane Vandergriff (Jessalyn) and Dorothy Marie Vandergriff; his sister Sandy Vandergriff Blackwell; his stepbrother Darrell Gillis; and his siblings, Krissy Vandergriff, Kerry Vandergriff, Kevin Vandergriff and Patricia Frey. He is also survived by extended family members and countless friends.
