With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Mitchell of Warner Robins, Georgia, born in Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Clifton and Sally Ashley Clifton. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Feightner (Harold) of Warner Robins, Belinda Grimshaw of Warner Robins, Jim Belknap (Debbie Oakley) of Smarr and Leslie Belknap (Kim) of Jacksonville, NC; and her brother Frank Clifton (Peggy) of Morrow. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there will not be a formal visitation. Masks and social distancing are requested at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The Methodist Home for Children & Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
