It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Sue Beaver (Warner Robins, Georgia), born in Marianna, Florida, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Lillie Mae Godfrey, Sr.; her husband Andrew Jackson Spires, Sr.; and her brothers, Charles Godfrey, Jr. and Theo Godfrey.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela McCoury, Andy Spires (Pam) and Nick Spires (Donna); her grandchildren, Tony McCoury, Christopher Spires (Dawn), Mandy McCoury and Jessie Spires; her great grandchildren, Lauryn (William), Ashlyn and Dawson; her great great grandchild Liam Walker; and her sisters, Patsy Godfrey and Nell Battle.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Homestead Hospice at 500 Osigian Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
