He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Emmett and Ceil Rose Kelsey Smith; and his brothers, Russell Anthony Smith and John Mark Smith. He is survived by: his wife Wanda H. Smith of Byron; his children, Shanel Goodwin (Shane) of Oceanside, Tya Smith of Greensboro, Chelsea Willingham (Steven) of Oklahoma City, Jaycob Smith (Nicole) of Warner Robins, Michelle O'Rourke (Mike) of Graniteville and Justin Peacock (Whitney) of Byron; his grandchildren, Emily, Maggie, Rachel, Katherine Goodwin, Finnley, Thatcher Smith, William, Gavin, Sara Grace O'Rourke, Nolan and Sam Peacock; his brother Harold Emmett Smith, Jr. (Pat) of Opelika, Ala; and his sister-in-law Nancy Smith of Pinson, Ala.
