She was predeceased by: her father Carl Beard; her son William Hayes "Billy" Lewis; and her brother Stanley Beard. She is survived by: her husband George Lewis of Perry; her daughter Jennifer Lewis Simmons of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Hunter Bryce Lewis and Sky Leigh Simmons; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Madison and Layton; and her siblings, Carl Beard, Faye Williams and Wanda Williams.
